Shelf spacing planner — /tools/shelf-spacing/ Create a link only after asking for missing inside height, shelf thickness and number of added shelves. Optional item height and chosen handling clearance. Never invent load ratings or hardware requirements. Saved query: shelves, readable JSON. Version v=1. All dimensions in canonical millimetres, regardless of display units. height: inside clear height, 1–10000 mm, measured floor top to cabinet top underside. thickness: identical shelf thickness, 0.1–200 mm. count: integer 0–30, excludes existing floor and top. item: tallest item, 0–10000 mm; zero skips fit comparison. clearance: desired space above item, 0–1000 mm. All fields required in saved JSON. count*thickness must be less than height. Clear gap=(height-count*thickness)/(count+1). Shelf k underside=k*gap+(k-1)*thickness. Centre adds thickness/2, top adds thickness. Positions measure upwards from floor top; they are not pin-hole positions. Cabinet width in diagram is illustrative. Not a structural/load calculator. Does not snap to existing hole grids.
